Soft homemade rolls with olive oil

Ingredients

500 ml of lukewarm water

650 to 700 g of flour

1 teaspoon of salt

1 sachet of dry yeast (10 g)

3 tablespoons of olive oil

For gilding:

1 egg yolk

1 teaspoon of milk

Preparation Steps

1. Activate the yeast

In a large bowl, pour the lukewarm water and add the yeast. Mix and let stand for 5 to 10 minutes , until the mixture foams.

 

2. Form the dough

Add the salt and olive oil, then gradually incorporate the flour.

Knead for about 10 minutes until you have a soft, smooth, and slightly sticky dough.

 

3. First lift

Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature, or until the dough doubles in size.
