Doctors can easily remove papillomas with office procedures, but if you’re not ready to visit a clinic or prefer a natural option, you can try the banana peel method.
Why banana peel?
Banana peel contains a number of natural substances beneficial for the skin:
Enzymes that help break down tissues;
Antioxidants that protect against irritation;
Moisturizing oils that soften the papilloma;
Natural acids that gently dry the skin.
There is no scientific evidence for the effect on papillomas, but many people share success with this simple, gentle method when used for a sufficiently long time.
What do you need?
1 ripe banana peel (cut to the size of the papilloma);
medical tape, bandage or plaster;
warm water and a clean cloth to wash the area;
optional – antibacterial soap for better hygiene.
Guide
Clean the skin.
Wash the area around the wart with warm water and mild soap. Dry gently with a clean towel.
Cut off the peel.
Cut a piece of banana peel slightly larger than the wart itself. The inner (white) side should touch the skin.
