Meta Description: No-bake layered dessert cups: creamy vanilla layers and crunchy biscuit crumbs in individual cups. Quick, easy treat for parties and snacks.
Introduction
These no-bake dessert cups stack smooth vanilla cream with crunchy biscuit crumbs for a treat that’s as pretty as it is simple. Inspired by Portuguese serradura (sawdust pudding), this make-ahead dessert alternates sweetened whipped cream and finely crushed cookies. It’s an ultra-light, ultra-creamy dessert made with just a few ingredients, and requires no oven time – just whip, layer, and chill. Each cup is finished with a dusting of powdered sugar and extra biscuit crumbs for a decorative touch.
Ingredients
Plain biscuits (cookies): ~200g (about 2 cups). Use crisp tea biscuits (e.g. Maria or Digestive) or graham crackers. Crush them into a very fine “sawdust” powder.
Heavy whipping cream: 1 cup (240 ml), very cold. Use full-fat (30–36% fat) cream and chill it well for light, stable whipped cream.
Powdered (confectioners’) sugar: 2 tablespoons (plus extra for dusting on top).
