Chocolate chips: for decoration.
3. Preparing no-bake cookies
3.1. Preparation of ingredients
Crumble the biscuits: Start by crumbling the dry biscuits. You can do this by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin, or by using a food processor to make a fine powder.
Melt the butter: Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave. Let cool slightly.
Prepare the chocolate: If using dark chocolate, melt it in a bain-marie or in the microwave, being careful not to burn it.
3.2. Mix the ingredients
Mix the biscuits and butter: In a large bowl, combine the crumbled biscuits and melted butter. Mix well until smooth.
Add the chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate into the cookie and butter mixture. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Stir in the sugar and cocoa: If you want more sweetness, add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Mix well to avoid lumps.
3.3. Formation of cookies
Prepare a pan: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or use a buttered muffin pan to form the cookies.
Form the balls: Using your hands, take small portions of dough and form them into balls or discs. If using a mold, fill each cup with the mixture and press down firmly.
Decorate (optional): If desired, you can decorate the cookies with chocolate chips, chopped hazelnuts, or shredded coconut before the dough hardens.
