1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 180°C. This ensures that the casserole cooks evenly and gets a nice crust.

2️⃣ Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices. Make sure the slices are uniformly thick so they cook evenly.

3️⃣ Also cut the zucchini and carrots into rounds. You can also cut the zucchini into half-moons if you prefer.

4️⃣ Dice the onion and fry it in a pan with a little olive oil. Fry them until translucent to intensify the flavor.

5️⃣ Arrange the potatoes, zucchini, carrots, and onions in a baking dish. Start with a layer of potatoes, followed by zucchini, carrots, and onions.

6️⃣ Pour the cream over the top and season with salt, pepper, and herbs. You can choose the herbs according to your taste, for example: thyme or rosemary.

7️⃣ Sprinkle with grated cheese. The cheese will melt during baking and form a delicious crust.

8️⃣ Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes until the surface is golden brown. Check with a fork if the potatoes are tender
