Heat over low heat and slowly bring the milk to a boil. Let it cook for about 20 to 25 minutes, stirring gently from time to time to prevent the milk from sticking or burning.

During cooking, the potatoes will absorb the milk, which will make them fragrant and creamy. A little milk will remain, creating a velvety base that will sublimate the puree.

4️⃣ Add the butter and seasonings

When the potatoes are soft (check with a fork), turn off the heat and stir in the butter. If you wish, add a generous pinch of nutmeg and grated Parmesan for an aromatic and tasty touch.
